We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to play a key role in shaping the future of our technology stack. As a senior technical leader, you will drive architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and build scalable solutions that power predictive fleet maintenance at scale.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the design and development of high-performance, scalable software solutions for our fleet maintenance platform.
- Architect and implement systems that process large-scale vehicle data, applying AI/ML-driven insights.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and data scientists to build intuitive, impactful features.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to a team of engineers, fostering a culture of best practices and continuous improvement.
- Optimize system performance, ensuring reliability and efficiency in real-time vehicle monitoring and predictive maintenance.
- Evaluate and introduce new technologies to enhance our platform’s capabilities and maintainability.
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with expertise in backend or full-stack development.
- Skills/experience should include NLP, AI prompt engineering, SQL, React.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Node.js, or Go (or similar languages) and experience with modern frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and distributed systems.
- Deep understanding of microservices architecture, API design, and event-driven systems.
- Experience working with large-scale data processing (Kafka, Spark, or similar technologies is a plus).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for building high-impact software products.
- Ability to lead technical projects and mentor engineers in best practices.
